84 Hurst transmission trouble

I am hoping someone can help me with a problem I am having with my transmission on my 84 Hurst Olds.
When the car is cold it runs excellent and shifts great. The problem is after a long drive it seems to shift way too soon when I accelerate from a stop. I have been using the shifter and shifting manually to avoid this problem but still don't know what it could be.
I have checked the fluid level and it is o.k. and the fluid looks o.k. and doesn't smell burnt or anything like that.
The engine light has been turning off and on intermittantly and the CCC system trouble code show the Oxygen sensor circuit fault and also Throttle position fault.
Could these be related?

I'm not sure of how to do it but it sounds like you need to adjust your TV cable. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

That sound like the problem to me too especially if you just installed it or was working on it and knocked it out of adustment. If you down on power it may shift too soon also.
