Jeff at Keisler sent me an email saying I was order #156, and should ship by end of Feb.. I'm glad I was prepared for the long lead time...

 

Is this for an RS700 or TKO?

 

how long is the lead time ?

 

Are they still doing the TKO's or have they shifted all their resources to the 700?

 

I ordered a SS700 in June, (expecting a long lead time, since it is new design, utilizing a startup company.) I am still hopeful Keisler can pull this deal off, if not they're toast.

 

Apparently they're still offering TKO transmissions, but they've bet the farm on the SS700.

 

I've got the one year of production RS600...

Took 9 months to get, and 5th gear doesn't work. Dealing with Keisler on that as we 'speak.'

 

Any updates?
What clutches are you guys using?

 

Still waiting on my trans, the latest is a ship date of 3/11. That date probably will be extended, Keisler apparently is having issues producing enough shifters to go with the Legend 5 speeds. I run a Centerforce dual friction with a stock Olds flywheel.

 

Just got an email from Keisler saying my trans. will ship the week of 3/1, production is now at least 25 units per week.
I'm not ripping out my 4 speed till I see it..

 

Good decision.

I just towed mine to the shop today to remove and ship back the RS600 for repairs. Also need to have the hydraulic clutch re-done, as the previous shop hacked it up.

 

Keisler sent an email today saying my 5 speed has shipped! I'll be lookin' for Brown on the 19th..)

That's great to hear! I just went for a spin in the Cutlass today, I'm liking this RS600 so far!

 

My TKO is being put in as we speak. Look like this is catching! A fresh 455 w/ the 5 speed. Spring is almost here and we'll all be able to drive on the highway! Unbelievable!
