4 speed value

I have a complete original muncie 4 speed set up from a 72 cutlass including the bellhousing, flywheel, shifter ,linkages, speedo cable,pedals,z-bar,tranny hump,4 speed console. The car had 66,000 miles when taken apart. The car ran and everything worked very well. What is the going rate for all this stuff? Thanks,Tim

I would think at least $1500 if not a little more.
I would like to have the pedals & console myself!

If everything is in great shape you could be looking at ~$2500 or so. I've seen muncie's go for over $1200 alone.

that would be an M-20 with the big tail shaft (TH400 style) if it was the original transmission to that car. with everything together and if the console is in nice condition with the console shift lever i would think $2000-$2500 area but i am not always good at pricing things.

GAOldsman... i have been following the 4 speed market for about 4 months, i think the Muncies are down a little right now. i have 4 M-20s (one with the big shaft) and can't get $650 for them

Thanks for the replies.I do not have pics.Someone asked if I had these parts and if I would be interested in selling them.I hate to sell, but I could use the $ .The setup came out of a 72 Olds Cutlass S.The body was just not worth saving. The frame was bad also. The funny thing was it only has 66,000 miles on it.The car ran great. It had the 350 4brl.,4speed,3.23 posi.I completely stripped the car and set everything aside.I took a video of the engine running because it sounded so healthy. It sounded like it was a w-31 car. That was through the stock dual exhaust.

I'd be interested in the setup, if you decide to sell. Thanks.

I sure wish I had it to spare, cause I'd take all four off your hands right now.

$2500 for certain. Put the lot of it on Evilbay and see what it fetches. Or, sell it to the worthy gentleman on this forum for an agreed upon fair price.
