4 Speed Linkage Questions

Doing an auto to MT change over on a 72 442 vert. I had a hodgepodge of OE linkage parts given to me by a friend am am having trouble identifying the right ones needed for my application.

Picture one shows the different shifter tabs I received. I believe the reverse one at the far right is correct, but it looks a little different than what appears illustrated in the AM. Is this the correct one or is it an aftermarket generic thing/kind of close repop?

Picture one also shows the tabs for the forward gears. I have three and they're all different from each other. If they're supposed to be the same I need to know which one is the correct one or if they're different which two are correct and which position they go in. (this M20 has the bolt on tabs)

Picture two shows the shift rods. I didn't get a reverse rod so I ordered one and it has the gold/zinc plating finish, while it looks like the OE rods have been plated with the dull cad. Which finish is correct?

Thanks.

I'd suggest mounting the shifter and then trying rods and tabs to see what fits lengthwise and in-out without any binding.

With Hurst linkage, everything begins from neutral - I used to do it out of the car, mark everything, and then install it,
Put the trans in all 3 neutral positions, mount the shifter assembly, determain neutral on the assembly, and figure out which combination of levers and rods will work.
You may have to turn the levers around, or install the rods from the other side, but that's the only way I know, from scratch!

There are a lot of different shifter linkages for the muncie used on a variety of cars over the years. Just look on ebay and you'll find more than a few.
Here's a pic of the shifter linkage that came with my 72 442. It did have the correct hurst shifter. Although the trans numbers translated the muncie to a 66.

MY442 - thanks for the pics - I think I know now the correct tabs. Is the shifter body supposed to be that silver color? Mine is kind of like a dull black anodizing.
