Fuel Tank

what year fuel tank will interchange with my 1970, mine is rusted with small pin holes, or does someone make a new replacement

Have you searched on rockauto.com? They have new fuel tanks for some models.

I presume your car is a '70 Cutlass. You can get replacement tanks through your local auto parts store. Autozone's website shows availability of tanks for this car. You'll have to order it and have it shipped to you or the store, but you can get them.

Sorry I should have specified a 1970 Toronado. I just figured since i posted in the Toronado section. 1970 Toronado fuel tank

You're right! I missed that.

I don't think new tanks are made for these cars. Pinhole leaks can be repaired if that's all they are. If, on the other hand, they're just the thinnest spots in a large area of rust, probably not. But I would exhaust all possibilities in getting your tank repaired as another one will likely have to come from another Toronado.
