***Edit*** I figured it out. There was a bit of black adhesive still stuck on the metal divider, and so I grabbed a little adhesive of my own and reinstalled the divider where it originally was. Once that’s dry I’ll be able to put the back seat in and plug in the rear speaker. One more little job complete.
It’s been a while since I took out the insulation panel behind the rear seat, and after piecing it back together with some 3M 77 adhesive, I have a pretty good original piece. Two questions: does the black tar side go towards the seat or the trunk? And is there anything to hold it in place? I see no hooks or holes where a support might have been. Maybe it’s just supposed to be pinned in place by the seat frame?
Everything back in place. Speaker installed, defogger installed, now back to focusing on the engine this week.
