'68 TH-425 Diff. Vent ??

I,ve got a '68 455 / Th-425 in a Hot Rod. '39 Ford COE mounted in the bed.. Just had the trans out and rebuilt..Took it out for a drive & was getting blowby out of the vent?? It's got a 16" tube attached to the vent hole, so the top of the tube is @ spark plug height.. How much & weight of oil in Diff.?? Anybody have any pictures of a STOCK Vent setup?? tks, Edgar
