best I can tell, it is what matches the pics i have seen , 2 long skinny snorkels 90 degree from each other similiar to mid 60s vette that go forward but these are angled out and its not a 64 442 unit
Don't know about now, but 19 years ago I couldn't give away a 49-state one I had restored. It was ready to go on a show car, decals, pie pan, chrome hold-down and all, and no one wanted it at $75, which considering my time and materials was a fair price.
Every Toronado part I ever tried to sell was like that, so I decided to deal only in spare parts for my own 69.
The worst was when I was offered $100 for an NOS 68 W34 rear bumper. I put it on the 69 instead and then got crucified at the National Meet.
The guy who lowballed me howled loud "I needed that bumper!" Well, had you offered me a fair price we'd have done business. As it is, the only way you'll get it now is to buy the car it's attached to.
Hate to say it but a lot of Toronado people are cheap.
Yeah I kinda thought so , it does look like that other than no decal and may have been chromed not sure I have only seen a pic.. i was buying the group of part mainly for 2 Pontiac intakes and a spare 11 bolt WP Pont timing cover and this Toro piece would be cool on a vintage rat rod use IMO
I got it and a bunch of Pontiac stuff yesterday plus instead of cash it just happened he was trying to find a new hub for his trailer and needed a 5x5 pattern one like mine and I had the part and traded for this and two great 68 and 71 iron Pontiac intakes, timing cover and water pumps. I like the look of it as a rat rod piece or a wall art in man cave , the deep drop makes it work on a Pontiac too ! color looks like old blue tinged silver in your pic
