Correct Toronado hubcaps

Correct Toronado hubcaps

I keep seeing these caps for sale as Toro caps....

But looking at these pics I do not see the grooved edge and they look flatter....

Am I correct in that assumption? I'm interested in a correct set.

That's probably a year-to-year variation on that style of hubcap. My '69's looked just like those in the photo of the '69 Toro (not like the photo of the hubcap). Based on your sig, it appears you need caps for a '66.

There was one year the A-body small cap mounted the same as the Toro, I think 68, but it was not the same cap. 67-70 Toro used the small cap as pictured on the 69 above. Center portion had more of a satin or brushed finish.

Here is a picture of the ones on my 67 Toro. I would love to find an NOS or super nice used set, but I would imagine they are very hard to find!
