will a 67 toronado steering wheel fit on a 66 cutlass steering column,I know the purist a cringing ,but I think It would look cool

 

Most GM steering wheels are relatively generic in their mounting splines, so they should be interchangeable. Try it and see if you like it. I don't think you can mix telescoping wheels for non telescoping ones.
Get your steering wheel puller out and see how it turns out. One of the good things about this forum is it doesn' t matter about worrying about purists. We all understand that sometimes you want to try something out just to see how it looks or feels.
