I've been away from the computer and more into the physical realm of late. Just catching up here!
Went to a couple car shows. I've heard dozens of times "wow i havent seen one of these in... well... forever!". It's pretty cool having a relatively rare car and telling people all about it! Between this and just driving it, the work pays off.
I hear ya, I get way more looks driving my 67 Toro than I do with my 69 H/O.
My problem is I need to get the '67 out more of which the exhaust & fuel tank replacement will help get it back on track.
Local upon seeing a Toronado in Lynchburg, the land of Falwell...
"Ahain't never seen no car like thet. Whut izzat, a Burick? Looks sinful to me!"
😛
Sure has come a long way. Properly stunning!
Curious if you ever found out where it was sold new. Jack Esteppe opened his Olds-Datsun dealership in Lynchburg in 1966. Would be cool if it was the first Toronado Mr Esteppe sold.

I would love to learn more ownership history of this car! Previously was owned in Appomattox but I think he was just flipping it. Any resources you may have or can recommend? 396876M509923
Yep, that's a real pretty one.
You've got to join the Olds Club of America and bring your Toro out to a National Meet - next year in Bowling Green, KY - https://oldsmobileclub.org/
