I need your help. I own a 1970 Oldsmobile Toronado GT. I need a new Fuel Tank Sending Unit. Can someone tell me what part I need for my Toro?

My son has a 70 GT and a '69. We had intended to restore the GT but the frame was too badly rusted. It is now a donor for the '69 but we still have a very solid body and numerous 70 components (unfortunately no core engine components as that was swapped out prior to our acquisition)

Cannister style sender unit from '69 and Tri-Star customised a new one
. We also needed a fuel sending unit for the '69 and Tri Star was the only resource for any semblance of a sender. They custom built a unit and it has been working very well ever since. You're the only entry I've noted for a '70 GT so if you need anything for your model please let us know and we'll see if we have something. We're in Nova Scotia, Canada. Hopefully we'll inventory this summer, what we'll 'part' with for those that may benefit.

 

Until it was too late, I did not realize that the OP ordered a “full size Oldsmobile” sending unit that is not correct for a 69-70 Toronado.
