Depends on condition. Need to find out what the floors and trunk look like. Also looks like in one of the shots there may be some cancer in the driver side fender. Check the door bottoms rust. If the sheet metal is healthy would be in that range. good luck. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Beaut...item336c49489d

I'd buy it for a driver for $1,000 haha. But you'd have to be somewhat ambitious to embark on that restoration. Time and money would be better spent finding a survivor/already restored Toronado in my opinion.

I agree with the consensus on here about this car. It is a first-year Toronado, though, and that may make it attractive to a fan of these cars.
The Old Cars Price Guide values these pretty highly, though. In #4 condition, which I think describes this car (runs and drives but needs complete restoration), values given are in the mid-$3000 range. To pick this up for barely one-third of that would seem to be a steal.

It's a pretty nice car for the money. I agree with everyone else, its not the selling price in its current condition that you should be concerned with, its the selling price of one thats restored. You can easily spend 20-25k fixing this one up!
