1966 toronado ignition wire

Hi does anyone know if there is a fuse or inline fuse for the 10ga purple wire going from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid. I have taken the ignition switch out and checked it , car will not start with key, any help please...

Thanks Aaron

that wire might go thru the neutral safety switch before it goes to the solenoid.jc

I've found that the steering column will get out of alignment simply by jamming the shift lever into park or low gear. Than, just as JC Dynamic said, the neutral safety switch doesn't get activated when the alignment is out. If the turn signal lever seems a little out of place (to high or low) than just give the shift lever a jam to realign the column. It should also realign the neutral safety switch than your back on the road.

Hopefully it's that simple for you. If not reply back and I'll dig out the service manual and check the wiring diagrams.
