Hi!

I seems to have difficults to find bolt on headers that fits my -76 455 Cutlass.
Does anyone no one that will fit?

Hello Mattias,

Depending on how much you would like to spend, also if you are wanting long tubes or short headers.
Hedman along with Hooker would be your best bet, I have the hedman shorty headers on my 76 350, went in with no problems, no bent or crushing of any tubes with short headers.
Here are a couple pictures of both drivers side and passenger in my 76 with hedman short ceramic coated .
I hope this helps
Eric

Mattias,
Ther is a new 73-77 oldsmobile site that has popped up, seems to be getting many new members, you could check out the site and become a member if you like. Classic Olds is the best Oldsmobile site going so I would continue to be a part of this large group of awesome members. The 73-77 site would be a good addition to source parts as well as questions regarding our year cars.
Here is a link the the site if you would like to join.

Most header manufacturers claim that the same headers fit 1968-1977 cutlii. I've never owned a 73-77 car, so I can't comment one way or the other, but the 73-77 frame should be at least as wide as the 68-72 frame. Ignore any footnotes that claim the headers won't fit Supremes.

I put a 455 in a 77 Cutlass using the 350 engine mounts and used Hooker Headers. They were the ones listed for 65 to 72 442 with big blocks and they fit fine.

The 1973-77 cars use the same frame and motor mounts for SBO and BBO.

Mattias,

Have you made a decision on which headers you would like to use? Would like to hear more about the plans you have for your 76.

Hi Eric!

I just bought a 455 jet boat engine and will swap to it later coming autumn, I got so much work now so there is no time for the car but I´ll post when progressing.
