hi .i pulled the heads off my 1966 toronado and put a staight edge on bottom of lifter and it still has a little dome on it ,can that be possible at over 100gs.

Same with the lifters on my 66 toro motor( which has been to the moon n back I think ) but I don`t plan on reusing them . Thought about having them resurfaced but that only recons the base .Still used lifters aren`t they.
Nice that they were built well originally I guess
