I am looking for the original part number for the center dash air conditioning outlet/deflector/diffuser between the radio and A/C control. I've looked through my 1964-76 F-85/Omega "master" parts catalog but it doesn't seem to show it (lists for 1968 up.) I think it would be in the 9.264 group?
The problem is that the version of the parts book you have is too new of a printing. Each parts book only lists those parts that were still available as of the printing date. That vent outlet likely got dropped from the system a decade before your edition of the book was printed. This is why you need to use a version of the parts book with a printing date as close to the date of your car as possible.
The parts in question are listed in Group 9.264. The Bezel, Center Outlet is P/N 386549. Deflector, Center Outlet is 386548. This info is from the Sept 1968 printing of the parts book.
