W31 Spring Help

I'm trying to figure out what is the correct replacement front springs for a '70 W31 (350 w/o AC) restoration project. This would have the FE2 suspension (442 standard suspension) package and HD cooling. But it certainly wouldn't have the same front springs as the 442 with the 455 engine. I'm pretty certain of the original GM part number having confirmed it in two Parts Books, the Assembly Manual, and other references. I contacted Eaton Spring and for that number they gave me spring rates corresponding to the big block 442. We concluded their reference material is in error. The parts catalogs I've checked don't seem to list a different spring for a 350 with FE2, just standard suspension.

Has any figured this out? It seems the ultimate source for all these spring suppliers may be Moog, is this true?

Thanks

I don't know the exact answer but with my car I went with eaton anyway. With all my research it was tough to figure out what a 70W30 with AC and a convertible would use. What I ended up doing was going with what their book called for in spring rate but asked them to give me a front end spring 1 inch lower. The rear springs I asked for .5" lower just to make sure the car either was level or had a little of a rake with the back end higher. This also prevented it from looking to high, you would be amazed at how high new springs will make the car look. I also purchased the variable rate spring as many times my car is used in parades so I can load people on the back and it doesn't move at all
