Where do I get front bushings, etc.

I'm new to the OLDS gig and was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on where to go online for front end bushing kits. I'm guessing that the front end on this car needs to be redone altogether. Where is the best place to get all the replacement parts? I'd like to get poly bushings if possible. My car is a 63 Dynamic 88 Holiday. Any other suggestions on places to get any parts for this car would be greatly appreciated!!

Rockauto.com

You really can't beat their prices, and if you can, you are probably the owner of a huge aftermarket car parts manufacturer.

1961 - 1963 Olds 88, 98, Starfire Upper Control Arm Bushings is one of the most unique in the world -- it is a roller bushing / nylon encased -- and not offered in any "exotic" or cheapie brands -- and -- that's a good thing....
You must stay with the best -- I keep them in stock --
Call Craig -- 516 - 485 - 1935..... I have the whole front end for this car -- ball joints, tie rods, center link, & idler arm.... and much more....

PST is known to have the most pathetic quality front end parts on the planet -- they are all made in INDIA... what the bleep is made in INDIA????

Craig, I tried calling you yesterday but didnt leave a message. I've been in training all week and new I couldn't answer the callback. Do you know if they make polygraphite bushings for the 63 or is rubber my only option. I got under there tonight and it looks like 5 of the 8 control arm bushings are gone (literally)!!! Most everything else looked pretty good (ball joints, sway bar, etc), but if the price is right I will probably replace them too. Can you PM me a price and shipping to Memphis?

By the way, I called PST and they don't have poly bushings for it, but they can get rubber from another company they have a relationship with (assuming Moog). Also Energy Suspension doesn't have them either. I'm guessing no one sells them in poly.

1961 - 1963 OLDS Front End Components

Hi, Shawn, it's me< Craig, Mobile Parts, responding to your request. I don't have a computer -- have to go to the library to use one -- so always best to call me -- 516 - 485 - 1935.... the best times to call me are 9 am - 12:00 Noon Eastern Time most days... then I do my running around, UPSing, etc. etc. and then I'm back later in the afternoons.
Weekends during the summer, naturally I'm at shows -- I'm in Carlisle, Pa. 5 times a summer, Hershey, of course, Rhinebeck, NY, Mansfield, Mass., Columbus, Ohio, etc. etc.

Your guess is correct. NO BODY makes these bushings in poly-anything.
PST's company that they are in kahoots with is a made-in-INDIA reproduction outlet and their bushings are garbage... this is too critical a bushing and front end to mess around with cheap bleep -- and have to do the job twice or worse...........

As for the guy who suggested "Rock Auto" -- that is laughable -- that is two internet gurus from the midwest who are hawking companies' wares -- they don't have a single item in stock -- and don't have a single ounce of automotive knowledge... If you punch up 1961 - 1963 OLDS FULL SIZE suspension on their website, all you will see is Coil Spring Insulators.
HA HA HA HA -- yeah, you rock auto knuckleheads are useless, thank you.

I have the entire front end -- Upper & Lower Ball Joints, Upper & Lower Bushings, Inner & Outer Tie Rods & Sleeves, Center Link, & Idler Arm ---
some is N.O.S. Moog -- but Moog, themselves, are OBSOLETE on all these items.....

I will be happy to quote you prices on everything.... give me a call as soon as you get this message -- and if you can't get a return phone call, I understand -- stay on top of me calling me -- and best is 9 AM - 12 Noon and 3:30 - 9:00 P.M. -- or later if you must!!!!!!! I'm "OPEN" 24 hours a day if need be!!!!!!!

Shipping to Memphis is easy and not expensive -- will depend a little on the total weight once we decide exactly what you need / want!!!!!

Talk to you soon...........Craig 516 - 485 - 1935....
