Did you reinforce the LCAs when you added the bar?

It just surface rust. I have spacers inside channel. Schedule 80 S/S 1/2" pipe with Grade 8 bolts and washers .

Nope for now just the pipe inserts. Once wag sees paint I will treat it for a set of new boxed lowers . The OPG folks sell bar with this type of hardware kit but mine had half fell out of box and had CS pipe spacers so I had me some SS ones made at work and picked up a few more 7/16 Grade 8 bolts that were missing. Already had some extra shims

Yeah I thought someone would say that LOL. It is tempting. I will wait till I run it a few more times and consider it. Depends if I need weight loss to hit my goals. I do want to keep it for the later use of wag when it gets 350 Olds back. The deal is it is welded into the bottom of the bumper brackets. If someone asking how does my Olds hook so good I tell em I got big traction bars ! haha
