My 65 Cutlass came with a swapped int olds 350 presumbly from a 1969. The Steering is very hard to turn as if its Manual Steering (no noises however). I tried to flush the steering fluid and added new fluid. Got better but still not good. I have been told to start with a pump replacement (which seem to be about less than $100). I havent however been able to find a pump that looks like mine. I have found other shapes/sizes that claim to be compatible with a 69 Olds 350. below is a picture, any idea which pump would fit? Im also not entirely certain on how to ID the block to confirm what year it is.
The actual pump part is the same. The round sheet metal reservoir simply needs to be swapped from the old pump to the new one. You can buy a new or rebuilt pump without the reservoir. The only trick is to pay close attention to the square cross-section O-rings that go into the back of the pump before the reservoir is installed. They are called "Mounting Stud Seal" in this drawing.
I pulled out a pump like the one you have and one from a 74 olds and it will not be a bolt on. As you can see from the attached photo's the what I will call the large reservoir pump has a flat mounting face and the small reservoir pump the mounting points are t different levels and it has the large round boss so it will not fit in your bracket without major work.
This may be a novice question but my car came has a Rocket 350 from presumably a 1969 and not the original 330 motor. Previous owner did not mention whether the pump ever worked. Would there be any compatibility issues with using the pump from a 330 on a 350 motor? Just wondering if that is why the PS is not functioning.

No, there is no compatibility issue. What do you mean by "not functioning"? Is it not generating pressure? There is a flow control valve in the outlet port of the pump that can come apart, causing a loss of pressure.
I had made a thread before as well Joe, basically when I drive there is no power assist .Feels like manual steering. Bought it that way. Came home flushed the system turned the wheel side to side etc. No leaks nothing. On low speeds it feels like no power steering - really have to muscle the steering wheel.

Check the flow control valve in the pump outlet port. The part labeled "plug" in the diagram below that holds the pressure adjusting spring comes loose, causing no pressure.
