Steering box to rack ball joint


Hello all found my ball joint from the steering box to the steering rack ball joint is bad on my 1979 cutlass anyone know what these ball joints are called lower upper etc ? ​​​​​​​

The one from the steering box arm is bad.

the other that connects both steering arms I think I should replace as well
any idea what that one is called ?

The description sounds like a center link.

x2 you have to replace the whole center link, sometimes called a drag link.

Use high quality parts on steering components, cheap won't last...of course that begs the question what is still considered high quality?

who knows these days. Made in China and everyone puts their sticker on it

Yup, that is one of the reasons I suggest only replacing what is bad within limitations of course... because the replacement may not be close to OE quality on some items.

How is Moog’s quality lately?

These are all expendable parts…
but the just expend a little quicker now.
