Shock choice for my 65er Starfire

Hey Folks,
i Need new shocks in my 65er starfire. i´ve got lowering springs (about 2") in front of it.

This is my solution for better handling and a much more Performance in my ride

but which valving size ist the best for me. I drive my olds 2-3 days a week on street /Strip and i want the best handling and performance for corners etc.

$115 each? Your call, but is the rest of the chassis up to that level? I paid about that much for TWO KYB shocks for my 67 Delta (which uses the same shocks as your 65).

Be aware that every aftermarket shock vendor shows the same front shocks for the 65-70 full size cars as are on the 64-67 A-body cars. THEY ARE WRONG! Read this thread for photos of the differences. Unfortunately, i don't think anyone sells the correct front shocks for these cars anymore.

I bought some shocks for my 65er Pontiac Grand Prix (also full size b Body ?) and they fit perfectly. odered from rockauto.

I give a try, but which valving should i use? The rest of my car complete PU bushed
