poly bushings

poly bushings

just put new poly bushings on my 66 starfire what a MAJOR differance it made verses stand rubber ones real big diff

Any particular bushing or do we have to guess???? Which bushing on the car? Which brand of bushing did you use??

I replaced the upper and lower control arm bushings in my 63 98 custom sport coupe with poly urathane and what a differance is right.
In the convertiable I replaced the uppers and lowers with NOS rubber and they tore apart in one year so if you can get the poly urathane bushings thats the route to go for sure.

sorry for the late reply there are upper and lower a arms ive used rubber ones before on all 5 olds ive had and they would give too much deflection youll notice when you jack the cars up youd see the front tires pull in a little not with the polys I feel they even make the car susp feel softer did the sway bar too got them from autozone 80 bucks performace susp makes them

also after the cards game went out on the hunt i did take a turbo tiburon but I really need a lim slip when i raced a new challenger/hemi i lost too much traction he got me by 2 1/2 car lenghs yes its a loss but I feel if id had the traction I would of taken him I agree with hydro about rubber bushings in back but polys are the way to go in the front

nope kit came with a lube just cleaned the metal up put it on the metal valley put some on the outer sides of bushings and also on the bolts and done
