I'm putting new springs on the front of my 66 442 and I'm a little confused on these isolators people are talking about. Did they use these on the front coils? There wasn't any on the old ones when I took them apart. Can someone please set me straight on this?

 

The isolators were used on the rears between the spring and the upper perch.
