Cutting Front Coil on 1972 Cutlass

Cutting Front Coil on 1972 Cutlass

Trying to lower 1972 Cutlass front end by 1". If a coil is cut off, would that lower it by 1" and any issues with doing that?

From: Poteau, Ok

Cut 1/2 inch off the overall length of the coil.
