A-body Jeep steering box upgrade

Someone might want to sticky this info.

93-98 Jeep Grand Cherokee steering boxes used to upgrade the Oldsmobiles.
16 to 1 steering ration to the Jeeps 12 to 1 steering ratio.

Here is a link to a list of the desired boxes: http://jimshea.corvettefaq.com/wp-co...Gear12DE04.xls

More info available here.
** For the A-body Sticky: **
A 92-98 Jeep Grand Cherokee steering gear is a direct swap in an A-body. The Jeep box is 2 turns, lock to lock and has metric hose fittings that will accept stock GM/LSx p/s hoses. You will need to install the A-body pitman arm on the new box and use the steering box side ragjoint from a 80's metric fullsize GM truck. The Jeep box in my car has proved a very good upgrade, the steering response is much improved.
