Air Bags?

I want to bag my 1951 super 88. Is it possible without clipping the front end? I'd perfer not to have to do that. Has anyone air bagged their olds with out doing this? Any ideas or suggestions?

There was a guy on here for a while that bagged a 52 98. I am pretty sure he used stock suspension. It has been a long time since he has posted. Maybe somebody will remember his name.

Well after doing some research and a lot of thinking, and came up with this decision. I'm going to clip the front of the car. It's about 2600 for the complete frontend and it' would cost about the same to completly rebuild the stock suspension then after all that....it's still a 51 olds suspension then I still have to fab up the airbag mounts. I plan on driving the car a lot so I think the FatMan front clip is the way to go

If you are going to be driving the car a lot, that is a good choice. The original front suspension is really antique. It doesn't even have ball joints. It has king pins and bushings. With that new front end, using a later model engine will be a lot easier. Keep us updated. Pictures are great.
