71 supreme monster truck...

Can anyone steer me in the right direction to lower my cutlass? I have about a 4 inch wheel gap running 195/75/14s. I've been all over the Internet looking for springs to lower it down but there all saying 1" drop I'm in need of a good 2" drop or better.. Does anyone know of a good bang for your buck springs or am I going to have to heat the springs? Will post pictures tomorrow I'm on my cell at the moment.

You can do 1 inch drop springs and 1 inch drop spindles that will give you the 2 inches you want . Some spindles I've heard have clearance issues with certain size wheels.

The majority of my problem is the rear the front sits ok so I want to steer away from spindles unless I don't know what I'm talking about lol

I found 2 inch rear drop springs on eBay for 139 for a rear pair . Company is BMR . I don't know the quality but they have to be better then torching or a cut spring .

I would put Moog springs in the car correct for your application, then go with a 225 70 14 tire which is taller and will fill the gap and it should look right. Hope this helps.

Let's see if I have this right. You have tires that are WAAAAAAY too small in diameter for your car, so to fix this you're going to spend hundreds of dollars on lowering springs and spindles?

Here's a thought:

Sell the Honda tires and get something like 215/75-14s. These are nearly 1.5" taller than the lowrider tires you have now.

I agree with Joe and Darryl, I would definitely upsize the tires to the correct size. That will make a world of difference.

I have the BMR's on the rear of mine... lowered it nicely, and rides well. Got at least 2" drop out of them.

That's what made the most sense to me.
