hey guys, im replacing all the suspension in my car. Ive got everything except the pitman arm. I cant seem to find one anywhere, parts stores just show not availible. Not on ebay either. 1971 Oldsmobile Delta 88,

I'm curious: Why do you need to replace the pitman arm?
They're not usually available aftermarket because they don't wear out. Unless it was damaged somehow or you're changing from power to manual steering, it shouldn't need replacement.

 

i was just wanting to put all new suspension under it because most of the parts were rusted, i got everything replaced except the pitman arm, i cleaned it up, its not too bad, i was just going to replace it since i was under the car, the steering wheel does have some play in it still though although i replaced everything i guess since i cant get one i will just put it on the alignment rack tomorrow and get that done, i can fix the play then and then its to paint and seats redone, thanks for the info though
