1970 SX Shocks

I have a 1970 SX, convertible with the L31 engine, with the "Firm Ride" Option FG2. This gave me Shocks (front/back) DD/DE, and Springs (front/back) SC/PC.
The front spring SC is the standard spring for the Vista Cruiser, which makes sense since the engine is from the Vista C, while the rear spring PC is standard for the Cutlass 4267.
Could anyone tell me if my standard shock spec, ie. not FG2 and not FE2, would be CM/CR (which was standard 4267 shocks), or was it CP/CR (which is Vista C front, standard 4267 rear).

Thanks, Peter

PS any suggestions for an aftermarket shock setup for a highway comfort ride. I am keeping my original springs, but I do not want to propoise down the road either.
