1966 Delta 88 Lower Arm Shaft Question
Hi Gents: I am restoring an all original 1966 Delta 88 Holiday Sedan. In the process of restoring suspension and specifically for the lower control arm shaft I noticed the bushing ID is .5" and the shaft (bolts actually) are 7/16" ID, Is this correct?, Both bushings and bolts seem to be correct/original but the play between seems too big to me but I am certainly not too much savvy on all things suspension. Looking at the parts manual unfortunately for this years no dimensions are specified so kind of lost here and any help or advise is appreciated. Best Regards. Raul

Hi Joe: Check the bolts and they are exactly as you picture, which is BTW what I expected since so far the car is completely original. Thanks again for the heads up on the bolts, now that I realize their shape the gap looks "smaller" to me although bigger than i would initially imagine but since everything is correct so be it and I will reinstall them as is. Regards. Raul.

Forgot to ask about the nuts, they seemed to be deformed after they tight them I imagine in order to minimize becoming loose, is this correct?, is it wise to reinstall them or look for new ones (I can get those with a plastic ring). Regards. Raul.
