Low oil pressure light

Low oil pressure light

I'm sure this has been posted but i could not find it. At what pressure does the idiot light for low oil pressure come on?

I think its like 3PSI, a real engine saver it is.

You can get oil switches that work at 20 psi, try a place that deals in race car prep.
Much better, get a gauge and keep the light. The gauge will tell you how the bottom end is doing, the light will catch your attention quicker than a moving gauge needle.
