350 downpipes

I was wondering how different the 350 downpipe was from a 400? I can get a pypes exhaust system from a chevelle but when I contacted pypes to see if they carried the downpipes for a 350, they said they do not carry them for the 350.

Mark, the easiest thing to do is go to a muffler shop and have them fabricate a setup. You can get it made any way that you want.

Funny, I just made a post on this subject. I called the Pypes tech and the guys was really unfriendly. Way to sell your products....

Yes, even in the 21st century there are companies (or employees) that just don't get it. I've had that experience with several BIG auto aftermarket compaines... Amazing

Anyhow, here is the link for Inline tube, check their catalog, the downpipes are $179

I just saw that. $179 + ship. I'd probably start shopping for headers. No matter how I slice it and dice it, it seems to always come up to around 500-600 when done.

Yea, that's about right! Even with an employee discount on my Porters I'm still around that when it's all done... lol
