www.kanter.com has a complete (they call it Deluxe) kit for 68-82 Olds 350 and 403 for about $1200. The kit includes everything but the block and heads...new pistons, cam, rocker arms, valves, valve springs, oil pump, gaskets, rings, lifters, pushrods, timing chain etc. They also have a couple less expensive kits without all those parts. I put one of their kits in my 69 350 a couple years ago, and no problems. They also have a lifetime warranty on all their parts against defects in materials/workmanship

Just my experience (a bad one)...is your engine guy familiar with Oldsmobiles? They ain't Ch#vys or F*rds and if you build them like they are, you can get an expensive boat anchor pretty quick.
