Z block origin?

Instead of the usual 3Mxxxxxxxx on the vin derivative pad. I noticed my engine is 3Zxxxxxxx

Plant of origin? 1972 model year.

The Chassis Service Manual, for one, has the plant codes.

Thanks fellas. Kurt I did join up at wildaboutcars when you first mentioned the project, but found it difficult to navigate. I'll stop back over soon, and see how things have progressed.
