lets hope dum luck saves our @$$es this weekend when we start building out newly aquired 455. i think its a good trade but what do yall think, 350 (mildly built dont know exatly what but u can hear the cam in the vid earlier posted) with a 400turbo trany (possible shift kit but unsure) for a 455 and tranny ( think its 350 turbo) the 455 just needs put back together with new gaskets and the guy is going to help us pull the 350?? thanx in advanced
It's the casting. KA are either a marine head or a service replacement. The GA heads are stock 1972 455 heads. They could have either 1.995" or 2.07" intake valves. Both are decent heads.
If you have a 400 in the car, KEEP IT. If you have to pay a little more for the 455 then so be it. You'd have to shell out the extra cash for a driveshaft if you get the 350 trans anyhow so consider it a wash.
