Does anyone have the torque specs for a water pump for a 1956 324 rocket? Apparently it's not listed under "water pump" in the shop manual with every other torque spec at the end of the chapter.

I'm sure there is a listed torque but I've always pulled them up snug around the pump then a little more when I rechecked it a little later. Someone here will probably have the correct torque, any issues I have ever had weren't because of torque though.... Tedd

 

You're right. The 1957 Oldsmobile Shop Manual shows 14-22 ft. pounds for the 5/16" bolts and 30-35 ft. pounds for the 7/16" bolts. (Page 8-27or 235)
