Water Pump leakage-how to seal?

Ok,

Before anyone gets exicted, this isn't an Olds engine, we would never have any problems with that (Grin) But I have a 225 V6 that has a very minor drip at just one bolt after putting on a new water pump. Yep, I did a good job of cleaning the surfaces and inspecting the block and everything should be good. But I have this dag gone minor drip at one bolt.

Is their any good sealants I could maybe try on the bolt hole and re-install the bolt??????? Figured one of you guys would have a suggestion.

Thanks Guys!

Lots of engines have some bolt holes that are tapped/drilled through to the water jacket. You probably found one. There are thread sealants made for that, but silicone on the threads will work.

I use plumbers thread sealer with Teflon on bolts.
