Washer welded over intake bolt hole?

Washer welded over intake bolt hole?

Just noticed this... appears to be a washer welded over one of the bolt holes. Can't recall if this is normal or not. What do other '72 350 4bbl intakes look like?

i don't think that is welded. if you take a little punch and hammer it should pop off.

Looks like it is just stuck in the paint. But where is the hole?
Here is my 72 350 4bbl intake.

Interesting. It survived bead blasting. Any ideas 2blu?

X2 Ive seen this many times. Its just stuck from rust.

Yep, stuck from rust. Just chiseled it off. Plus the washer was a little 'concave' shaped, so that would contribute.
