Valve Cover Recommendation

Hi,
Any recommendations for a good aftermarket valve cover for a ‘70 350 with Olds heads which will also clear factory A/C and alternator brackets? I have a cheap pair of Edelbrock covers on now but not crazy about them.

Unfortunately other than the cheap chrome covers, in tall or short and the tall fabricated, you are limited in new covers. The fancy finned Offy aluminum covers run about $400 a set, still available new, one run a year. There are used M/T and Edelbrock finned aluminum covers used around for $100 to $200+ a set depending on condition.

Get stock covers chrome plated. No issues with leaks or fitment. In fact, get the 73-74 OLDSMOBILE script valve covers and have them plated.

^^^^^ X2 For Joe's recommendation... Sharp looking and no fitment issues using the 73/74 scripted covers...

I kind of like the old school M/T aluminum covers. I've got a set on my small block, clears roller rockers and the stock PCV rubber grommets fit the vent holes.
