Vacuum lines 2bb Rochester GC

Was going to grab a vacuum guage and dial in my carberator but im at a loss on where I would attach it. My head is spinning between ported or mainfold. Advanced distributor line or no never or maybe use a t to connect. So many "experts" online . Ha!
! I took a picture and the red arrow indicates this hose goes to the advanced distributor. A friend said unhook that and plug it with a golf t and use that port off the carb.
Now im not Goober from Mayberry, but I can see that seems like a bad idea.
i just ordered a copy of Haynes rochester techbook. I may try to rebuild this old thing! Im retired so why not?!

I think the Yellow arrow is the vacuum source for the HVAC dash control. You could disconnect that hose and use the port for your vacuum gauge.
You could also remove the plug with the Green arrow and get a hose barb fitting to fit the hole and connect the gauge there.
Both of the above are full manifold vacuum sources.
