Turkey tray

What is the latest opinions on the Turkey tray intake gasket? Ordering gaskets for my '68 350 build and I can use the original style metal pan, or regular intake gaskets. I always use a bead of silicone on the China walls, however.

Any milling done to the heads and block? If so composite intake gaskets won't fit properly.

If using roller lifters you will not be able to use the metal pan.
