Timing & jetting ideas on built up 350

I have a relatively fresh 350 Olds that has had some performance work done to it.
#5 heads w/mild port work (clean up and bowl blending)
Larger valves
comp XE284 cam
roller tip rockers
Recurved HEI
9.8:1 compression
RPM intake
Headers
Holley 770 street avenger carb

I don't know what baseline I should time this thing at and also, I would imagine that the carb is probably somewhat fat for this. If anyone has some input, it would be great. I am in Wisconsin. If there were any specs on the recurve...I never got them as the prior owner had that done. Thanks

That combo sounds pretty good to me. That 770 should work fine.IMO I would start about 10-12* advance and have it come in with a total of 32-36*. I had one set-up that liked 40* total, so you just have to try and see.

You have a lot of cam for that size motor and compression ratio.
I'd start with16 or so initial with 36 or so at 3000. Hope you have a 3.90 or better gear.
