Timing chain
I am in the process of putting my 350 olds engine together. I ordered a double row timing chain (Comp Cams 2113) from Summit Racing and when I went to install it today the chain is way too long. When installed on the top cam sprocket the chain hangs below the crank sprocket. What am I missing here or did they send me the wrong kit.

I just called summit and they are going to send me a new set. I checked the numbers on the gears and they are 2213 A & B while the number on the box says 2113. Not sure what this set is supposed to fit.

Honestly buy a Cloyes Street roller set. I have heard a sorts of issues with the other sets especially accuracy once a degree wheel is put on. Cloyes according to many sources are accurate within a degree.

I have degreed a cam with. Comp cams timing chain and found it to be right on the money . Also according the bil trovato the pro gear timing chain units which is what I have now have the cam pin bores in the wrong place. When I degreed my cam it was right on . The pro gear timing chains are nice I bought mine through rocket racing.
