Is these a reasonable carb application?

I found a non cc carb for my next project. Numbers are 17059253/7000193 off the carb. The carb will need a rebuilt and my research shows it's a 800 cfm carb from a 403 engine.

I am interested in running on it 67 330 engine. Suggestions/comment? I haven't had much luck finding a non cc quadrajet so should I use or find another.

It should be close, mine had 48 K rods and 73 jets primary. Almost all the later Qjets I have owned had .527 CC secondary rods with H thru M hangers.

An 800 cfm carb is capable of flowing 800 cfm maximum, but it will flow only what the engine can draw up to that 800 cfm. So that means if your 330 can draw only 500 cfm, then the carb will flow 500 cfm. Being able to flow more than the engine needs means your engine will never run out of air flow with that carb. FYI, most Q-Jets are 750 cfm so you won't find one that is smaller to match your engine as you would with Holley or other brand carbs.
