Tall stamped valve covers

Anybody have experience with taller-than-stock valve covers? I want more of a stock look for my stroker engine build and planned to reuse the stock valve covers, but I don't think my they will clear my roller rockers. Some have suggested removing the baffles for more clearance but I don't want oil-control issues. I've seen eBay listings for taller-than-stock stamped valve covers of varying height. The stock cover is 2-3/4" (2.75") tall. How tall do taller-than-stock covers need to be to clear roller rockers? The ebay listings are 2.9" and others are as tall as 3-5/8" (3.625"). Thanks
Rodney

Depending on how tall.A/C and power brake booster clearance could be an issue.If/when they need to come off. That applies to BB's for sure.

I have a set from Bernard Mondello valve covers ($100) for the same issue. I have rollers on my 400 and the stock covers would hit. I have a 11" brake booster that clears fine. The AC and alternator brackets don't fit though.

They do look purty!
