Rocket 350 automatic exhaust questions

I awaiting delivery of my newly purchased 1976 triple black Cutlass Supreme T-Top car I won on eBay. 13,425 original miles one owner garage kept car. I want to mount the fattest TA radials I can fit on stock 15 X 7 SSIII Rims. I also need opinions on headers and dual Magna flow exhaust. I will need to sell my 69 Z-28 clone before going too crazy spending money.

Well, for starters you'll need a double hump trans crossmember from a 73-74 car. All 1975-up A-body cars were single exhaust only and thus have a one hump crossmember.

I say the Hooker Competition headers would go nice with a stock 76 350.

X2 with the Hooker Comps.
I purchased the Hedman Shorty headers although they fit great with no issues at all... The drivers side exhaust pipe from the header has a tight bend to keep the pipe up high anuff. I would go with the Hookers as well.
Hope this helps!!!

I wouldn't go larger than 275-60-15s on a 15x7 wheel.

I agree with Kenneth, I have a pair of 245 60 15's on a set of cragars and with the basically stock 350 it was impossible to chirp them. Also to add to your muffler choices, I put the flowmaster super 44's on and it sounds good with full tail pipes.

Did you get those Hedman's coated? Was it aftermarket?

My choice for muffs are dynomax.
I'm not big on flows, I have them on my '70 Supreme, they just sound to tinny.
I also have Magna flow muffs on my '68 Cutlass "S" and hate the sound, going to Dynomax as soon as I can.

I ordered them from performance improvements in Toronto, I forget the order number, but they they were shipped up here from hedman. I had to wait a few more weeks back when I ordered them because they sent them out for coating.

I may be interested in them if you go long tube. The larger tube size will help with my future plans.
