I would like to have replace my damaged and rusted shut Rochester that came with the 71 350 engine that I bought. It was 4bbl manual choke #17058204 which makes it a 78-79 BOP. I would like to have the electrical choke version of that carb. Does anyone know the carb model number or something equal to or better?

 

actually, that number makes it a '78 chebby carb. the carb. number your motor should have is a 7041250. converting to electric choke is easy.
