Not sure if this is the right section to post this in, but I want to replace the radiator in my 71 Supreme, does anybody know of an aftermarket radiator that fits in the stock location and uses the stock hoses?
Being a 71 makes it easier. I used 71 replacement rad hoses to fit a 2nd Gen Camaro/Firebird aluminum rad I had in my 70S, the usual 1.5" connections. The 70 has larger diameter hoses that won't work without adapters. Any aluminum replacement should work but the fan shroud may need tweaking to fit.
Do you have an aftermarket radiator in any of your stuff? I was looking at the BeCool stuff on Summit, but I've had some poor luck when it comes to getting direct fit stuff for a 71 Supreme for some reason.
Auto City Classic and Cold Case both make drop-in replacements - I've used both in my '72 with no issues - currently have the Cold Case but both are excellent choices - all aluminum 2-row units with large tube diameters and tank designs patterned after OEM for factory look

Do these Radiators use the factory molded hoses? or do you need adapters?
does the coldcase radiators fit in the stock 4 core saddles? I have both a 4 core top plate and the standard top plate and I bought 4 core saddles for below? also I plan to use with stock shroud and factory clutch fan any issues with that? its a 69 , also has anybody painted their coreblack, not a big fan of aluminum through the grill.
I put a cold case in my 72 cutlass s. I had to move both lower saddles as it was a little wider than the stock radiator. Also had to modify the upper trans cooler line as the fitting in the cold case in located higher than the factory rad.
just my experience. Its worth the extra work. It works great.

Thanks for the fast reply!! Did you replace a 3 or 4 core stock radiator? Any issues with shroud etc?
I replaced a 3 core with a two core and it cools better. The two core tubes are 1.25” each in width. I didn't paint mine but you could fog some paint on the tanks and make it look stock.

Check this ebay store out. They have hundreds of radiators available in aluminum with some that look OEM. Search for your year/make/model inside the store to get close. All of the listings have actual dimensions, including inlet/outlet size, in the description so you can measure your existing unit and make sure it will fit. https://www.ebay.com/str/allen-chok?...p2047675.l2563
